Na Yong District ( Thai : อำเภอ นา โยง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) of Trang province . Trang Province is located in the southern region of Thailand .

geography

Na Yong County is located in the east of the province.

Adjacent counties and areas are (from south clockwise): Amphoe Yan Ta Khao and Mueang Trang in Trang province and Amphoe Si Banphot and Srinagarindra the province of Phatthalung .

history

Na Yong was initially set up as a small district ( King Amphoe ) on April 1, 1990 , by separating six tambon from the Mueang Trang district . On November 4, 1993, Na Yong received full amphoe status.

Local administration

Na Yong Nuea ( เทศบาล ตำบล นา โยง เหนือ ) is a small town ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district, it consists of parts of the Tambon Na Yong Nuea.

There are also six "Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( für บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO) for the tambon or the parts of tambon in the county that do not belong to any city.
