Amphoe Rueso ( Thai : อำเภอ รือเสาะ ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Narathiwat . The province of Narathiwat is located in the southeast of the southern region of Thailand on the border with Malaysia.

Adjacent counties and regions are (from the northeast clockwise) the Amphoe Bacho , Yi-ngo , Ra Ngae and Si Sakhon Narathiwat province and Amphoe Bannang Sata and Raman the province Yala .

history

The area of ​​today's Rueso District was originally a tambon in Tonyongmon District, today's Rangae . In 1913 Tonyongmon was upgraded to a small district ( King Amphoe ) consisting of six tambon . In 1917 it was renamed Rueso. On October 1, 1939, Rueso received full amphoe status.
