Amphoe Santi Suk ( Thai : อำเภอ สันติสุข ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the center of Nan Province . Nan Province is located in the northeast of the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring clockwise from the north: the Amphoe Tha Wang Pha , Pua , Bo Kluea , Mae Charim , Phu Phiang and Mueang Nan . All counties are in Nan Province.

history

Santi Suk was set up on June 15, 1981, initially as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the two Tambon Du Phong and Pa Laeo Luang from the Amphoe Mueang Nan . On April 21, 1983, the third Tambon Phong was added, which had been separated from the Amphoe Mae Charim . On July 4, 1994, Santi Suk was promoted to Amphoe.
