Amphoe Tak Fa ( Thai : อำเภอ ตากฟ้า ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the southeast of Nakhon Sawan Province . Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts (from southwest clockwise): Amphoe Takhli , Phayuha Khiri , Tha Tako and Phaisali of Nakhon Sawan Province and Amphoe Nong Muang of Lop Buri Province .

history

When the government built the Phahonyothin Expressway ( Thanon Phahonyothin ) , the county was established by separating some tracts of land from Amphoe Takhli . Tak Fa was officially declared an amphoe on October 13, 1970.

Tak Fa County is divided into seven tambon ("subdistricts" or "parishes"), which are further subdivided into 76 muban ("villages").

There are two municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Udom Thanya (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล อุดม ธัญ ญา ) consisting of the complete tambon Udom Thanya.
  • Tak Fa (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ตากฟ้า ) consisting of the parts of the Tambon Tak Fa, Suk Samran.

In addition, there are six " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Tak Fa (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ตากฟ้า ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Tak Fa.
  • Lam Phayon (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ลำ พยนต์ ) consisting of the complete Tambon Lam Phayon.
  • Suk Samran (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล สุข สำราญ ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Suk Samran.
  • Nong Phikun (Thai: องค์การ บริหารส่วน ตำบล หนอง พิกุล ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nong Phikun.
  • Phu Nok Yung (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล พุ นกยูง ) consisting of the complete tambon Phu Nok Yung.
  • Khao Chai Thong (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เขา ชายธง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Khao Chai Thong.
