Amphoe Chum Ta Bong ( Thai : อำเภอ ชุม ตา บ ง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the western part of Nakhon Sawan Province . Nakhon Sawan Province is located in the southern part of the northern region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Mae Wong and Lat Yao of Nakhon Sawan Province, Amphoe Sawang Arom and Lan Sak of Uthai Thani Province and Amphoe Mae Poen again in Nakhon Sawan.

history

The community of Chum Ta Bong was founded in 1967 by settlers from the Tambon Wang Mueang ( Amphoe Lat Yao ) under their leader Mr. Bong Charawan ( นาย บ ง ชา ระ วัน ). The settlement area was initially called Tambon Huai Nam Hom.

When the government established the Mae Wong Branch ( King Amphoe ) in 1992 , Huai Nam Hom was part of the district, but was later divided into the three tambon Huai Nam Hom, Chum Ta Bong and Pang Sawan.

On July 1, 1997, Chum Ta Bong County was initially set up as a "Branch County" (King Amphoe) by separating the Tambon Chum Ta Bong and Pang Sawan from Mae Wong.

With the publication in the Royal Gazette "Issue 124 chapter 46" on August 24, 2007, Chum Ta Bong officially received full amphoe status.

In the district there are two " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Chum Ta Bong (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ชุม ตา บ ง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Chum Ta Bong.
  • Pang Sawan (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ปาง สวรรค์ ) consisting of the complete Tambon Pang Sawan.
