Office Pritzwalk-Land

The Pritzwalk-Land office was an office in Brandenburg formed in 1992 , in which 17 communities in the then Pritzwalk district (now the Prignitz district , Brandenburg) were initially combined to form an administrative association. It was dissolved again in 2002.

Geographical location

The Pritzwalk-Land office bordered the Meyenburg and Wittstock-Land office in the north, the Heiligengrabe / Blumenthal office in the east, the Groß Pankow / Prignitz office in the south and west and the Putlitz-Berge office in the northwest .

history

The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the establishment of the Heiligengrabe / Blumenthal Office on July 27, 1992 with effect from August 1, 1992. The office had its seat in Pritzwalk and consisted of the communities:

  17. Wilmersdorf

On December 31, 2001, Grabow-Buckow and Preddöhl were incorporated into the municipality of Kümmernitztal , from Giesensdorf to Pritzwalk, and Halenbeck and Rohlsdorf were merged to form the new municipality of Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf . The communities Gerdshagen , Halenbeck-Rohlsdorf and Kümmernitztal were assigned to the Meyenburg office on July 1, 2002 . The municipalities of Alt Krüssow, Beveringen, Buchholz, Falkenhagen, Kemnitz, Klein Woltersdorf, Mesendorf, Sadenbeck, Steffenshagen and Wilmersdorf were incorporated into Pritzwalk on December 31, 2002 and the office thus dissolved. The municipality of Boddin-Langnow was incorporated into the municipality of Groß Pankow on December 31, 2002 .

Office Director

The first and only official director of the Pritzwalk-Land office was Rainer Greve. After reunification, he was first mayor of the municipality of Falkenhagen before he was elected official director in 1992.
