Sadenbeck is a district of the town of Pritzwalk in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is seven kilometers northeast of Pritzwalk. The neighboring towns are Kuckuck in the north, Biesterholz in the northeast, Könkendorf in the east, Neu Krüssow in the south, Kiebitzberg and Streckenthin in the southwest, Mittelmühle in the west and Falkenhagen in the northwest.

history

The first written mention of Sadenbeck comes from the year 1424. In it the place was recorded under "Sadenbeke". From 1952 Sadenbeck belonged to the Pritzwalk district in the Potsdam district .

Until 1816 the place belonged to the district of Pritzwalk in the province of Prignitz ; part of the Kurmark of the Mark Brandenburg and then came to the Ostprignitz district . Since December 6, 1993 the place is part of today's Prignitz district.
