The office Schönwalde-Glien was an office formed in 1992 in which five municipalities of the then Nauen district (today Havelland district , Brandenburg ) were combined into an administrative association. The official seat was in the municipality of Schönwalde . The office Schönwalde-Glien was dissolved again in 2003 as part of the municipal reform in Brandenburg.

Geographical location

The office Schönwalde-Glien bordered in the north on the offices Nauen-Land and Oberkrämer , in the northeast and east on the office Oberkrämer and only for short distances on the city of Hennigsdorf and Berlin-Spandau , in the southeast on the office Brieselang , in the south the city of Falkensee and in the west to the office of Nauen-Land . It had a size of almost 84 km² and 4879 inhabitants (December 31, 1992) and 7478 inhabitants (December 31, 2002).

history

On June 30, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg gave his approval for the establishment of the Schönwalde-Glien office. The date on which the office was established was July 6, 1992. The office had its seat in the municipality of Schönwalde and consisted of five municipalities of the then Nauen district :

  1. Schönwalde (today the districts of Schönwalde-Dorf and Schönwalde-Siedlung )
  2. Pairs (= pairs in the glial )
  3. Pause
  4. Perwenitz
  5. Wansdorf

On October 26, 2003, the new community Schönwalde-Glien was formed by law from the communities Paaren im Glien, Pausin, Perwenitz, Schönwalde and Wansdorf (office Schönwalde-Glien) as well as the community Grünefeld ( office Nauen-Land ). The office of Schönwalde-Glien was dissolved and the municipality of Schönwalde-Glien became vacant.
