Oberkrämer is an unofficial community in the Oberhavel district ( Brandenburg ). It was created in 1998 when initially three communities merged. Another four communities joined in 2001. The name is derived from the adjacent forest area Krämer .
geography
The municipality of Oberkrämer is located in the extreme southwest of the Oberhavel district , in the middle of the Havelländischen Luch , about ten kilometers northwest of the Berlin city limits. The Mühlensee lies between the districts of Vehlefanz, Schwante and Neu-Vehlefanz .

The following residential areas exist in the municipality: Altes Forsthaus Bärenklau, Am Wasserwerk, An Konarskis Pfuhl, expansion Eichstädt, Bötzow expansion, forestry Oberkrämer, Haus im Wind, Karlsruh, Klein-Ziethen, Koppehof, Krämerpfuhl, Kuckswinkel, Lindensiedlung, Neu-Schwante, Oberer Priesterweg, settlement on Bärenklauer Weg, Sommerswalde, Wendemark, Wirus and Wolfslake .
history
From 1941 to 1945 there was a test facility for the use of wind energy on the Mathiasberg .
On October 7, 1989, before the fall of the Berlin Wall , the Social Democratic Party in the GDR (SDP) was founded by a group of 40 active civil rights activists in the Schwanter rectory . She belonged to the citizens' movement of the time. The East German SPD emerged from the SDP in 1990 .
The history of the municipality of Oberkrämer basically goes back to 1992. In the course of the formation of offices in Brandenburg, seven communities in the then Oranienburg district had come together to form an administrative association, the Oberkrämer Office . On July 30, 1992, the Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg gave his consent to the formation of the Oberkrämer Office. August 10, 1992 was set as the date on which the office was established. The office had its seat in the municipality of Eichstädt.
On September 27, 1998, the communities of Eichstädt, Neu-Vehlefanz and Vehlefanz formed the new community of Oberkrämer. On December 31, 2001, the new municipality of Oberkrämer was formed from the communities of Oberkrämer, Bärenklau, Bötzow, Marwitz and Schwante. The office of Oberkrämer was dissolved on the same date. The first and only official director was Helmut Jilg.

Since 1937, four changes to the area of the municipality have taken place in what is now the municipality of Oberkrämer . In two cases it was about incorporations , in the other two cases about the establishment of new communities .

The municipality of Oberkrämer carries a flag that is described as follows: Three-striped green-silver (white) -green in a ratio of 1: 2: 1 with the municipality's coat of arms in the median. The coat of arms was approved on December 19, 2001. Blazon : "Above the corrugated shield base, split by blue and gold, split by silver and green, in front right a conifer and left a deciduous tree each with a black trunk, behind two natural storks flying over each other."

Larger companies in Oberkrämer are the mobilcom-debitel Shop , which has its administration in Oberkrämer, and the HiPer Group , a mechanical engineering and medical technology company that specializes in ceramic materials and generated around six million euros in sales in 2012 with 80 employees. The HB workshops for ceramics in Marwitz were founded by Hedwig Bollhagen . Another long-established company is the 130 years producing bakery Plentz in Schwante with several branches in the area and the carpentry Thiede, among other organ brochures and the interiors of railway vehicles ( ICE 3 , Nord-Ostsee-Bahn , tram Munich manufactures).

Oberkraemer lies on the national road L 17 according to Hennigsdorf . Oberkrämer is connected to the federal trunk road network via the junction Oberkrämer (until 2004 Schwante ) on the federal motorway 10 . There is a truck stop at the Oberkrämer exit .
The districts of Bärenklau, Vehlefanz and Schwante each have stops on the Berlin-Schönholz-Kremmen line . The regional trains of line RB 55 stopping at the stations mentioned run between Hennigsdorf and Kremmen .
