District Court Hof (Saale)
The District Court of Hof is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of 73 district courts in Bavaria . It is housed in two buildings, the main building at Berliner Platz 1 and the branch at Kulmbacher Strasse 47 in Hof .
Area of responsibility
The Office court district covers the city of Hof and the corresponding district court . About 155,000 people live here. In foreclosure , receivership and bankruptcy matters , as well as in trade and association register matters , the jurisdiction also extends to the district Wunsiedel .
In commercial criminal matters, the Hof District Court is also responsible for the districts of the Bamberg , Bayreuth , Coburg and Hof district courts .
Since January 1, 2013, the Hof District Court has also been the central enforcement court for the State of Bavaria.

Management and staff
The director of the local court is Wolfgang Kienlein, his permanent representative is Ulrike Hofmann-Beyer. Günter Gebhardt is the manager.
There are currently 16 judges , 26 judicial officers , 58 employees in the offices, 11 bailiffs and 6 trainees at the court. In addition, 64 lay judges take part in adjudication on a voluntary basis .

The district court Hof / Saale is superordinate to the district court Hof , which in turn is superordinate to the higher regional court Bamberg .
