The District Court of Naila was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction from 1879 to 1973 with its seat in the city of Naila .

history

In 1812, the Naila district court was established in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria . On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was set up in Naila, the district of which was identical to the previous district of Naila and therefore the communities of Baiergrün , Bernstein am Wald , Bobengrün , Carlsgrün , Culmitz , Döbra , Dörnthal , Froschgrün , Geroldsgrün , Haidengrün , Issigau , Kemlas , Lichtenberg , Lippertsgrün , Löhmar , Marlesreuth , Marxgrün , Meierhof , Naila, Neudorf , Neuhaus , Obersteben , Räumlas , Reitzenstein , Rodesgrün , Schauenstein , Schwarzenbach am Wald , Schwarzenstein , Selbitz , Straßdorf , Thierbach , Untersteben , Volkmannsgrün , Willow green and Windischengrün included. The higher-level instances were the Hof Regional Court and the Bamberg Higher Regional Court .

With the repeal of the district court of Nordhalben on October 1, 1929, the district court district of Naila expanded to include the communities of Langenbach and Steinbach near Geroldsgrün .

When the law on the organization of ordinary courts in the Free State of Bavaria (GerOrgG) came into force on July 1, 1973, the Naila District Court was repealed and its district was assigned to the Hof District Court .

Courthouse

The court was located in a two-storey hipped roof building at Anger 24. The sandstone building, built in 1890, is a listed building.
