The Offenburg District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and the largest of the six District Courts (AG) in the district of the Offenburg District Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is Offenburg , the district town of the Ortenaukreis . The judicial district extends to the city of Offenburg and the communities of Appenweier , Durbach , Hohberg , Neuried , Ortenberg and Schutterwald with a total of around 98,600 inhabitants.

As an insolvency court , AG Offenburg is responsible for the entire district court district. Dunning proceedings are handled by the Stuttgart District Court as the central dunning court .

The court is housed together with the regional court in the building at Hindenburgstrasse 5 , which was built in 1956 .

Superior courts

The District Court of Offenburg is superordinate to the District Court of Offenburg . The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court in Karlsruhe .
