District court Lahr
The Lahr District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of six District Courts (AG) in the district of the Offenburg Regional Court .
Seat and District of the Court
The seat of the court is Lahr / Black Forest , the second largest city in the Ortenau district . The judicial district extends to the city of Lahr as well as the communities Friesenheim , Kippenheim , Meißenheim , Schuttertal , Schwanau and Seelbach with a total of around 80,000 inhabitants.
The register of associations has been kept by the Freiburg District Court since December 2014 . For insolvency proceedings is Amtsgericht Offenburg responsible. Dunning proceedings are handled by the Stuttgart District Court as the central dunning court .
building
The court is housed in the Turmstrasse 5 building, which was built between 1899 and 1902 . The neo-baroque building was commissioned by the Grand Duchy of Baden and completely renovated in the 1990s. It is a listed building .
Superior courts
The District Court of Offenburg is superordinate to the Lahr District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court in Karlsruhe .
