The district court of Zossen is a court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of six local courts (AG) in the district of the Potsdam Regional Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The seat of the court is the unofficial city of Zossen in the Teltow-Fläming district . The 770 km² judicial district extends to the cities of Zossen, Baruth / Mark and Ludwigsfelde as well as the communities Am Mellensee , Blankenfelde-Mahlow , Großbeeren and Rangsdorf . Around 99,000 people live in it.

The registry court is the Potsdam District Court , which is also responsible for insolvency proceedings . The foreclosure auction and administration proceedings are carried out by the Luckenwalde District Court . Dunning proceedings are handled by the Wedding District Court as the central dunning court .

The Potsdam Regional Court is superordinate to the District Court of Zossen . The competent higher regional court is the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court in Brandenburg an der Havel .
