Anders Warming (* 1972 ) is a Danish automobile designer and founder of Warming Design .

Career

Warming studied at the Art Center College of Design in Vevey and Pasadena . After completing his studies, he started working for BMW DesignworksUSA in California in 1997 .

Warming was employed by Volkswagen between 2003 and 2005 before he returned to the BMW headquarters in Munich . Between 2007 and 2010, Warming was in charge of the exterior design of Mini , after which he took over the position of chief designer at Mini until July 2016.

Warming has been the chief designer for the Borgward Group since January 1, 2017 .

credentials

Warming influenced the design of the second generation of the BMW X3 . He was also significantly involved in the designs of the BMW Z4 , the BMW 5 Series and the BMW 6 Series .

The design of the Mini Coupé , the Mini Roadster and the Mini F56 came about under his direction.

At Borgward he was responsible for the design of the Isabella Concept presented at the IAA in September 2017 .

Warming also worked at BMW under Chris Bangle and Adrian van Hooydonk .
