Andrea Heuser (* 1972 in Cologne ) is a German author , translator and literary scholar .

life and work

Andrea Heuser studied German , politics and comparative religion in Cologne and Bonn . She did her doctorate in 2008 on German-Jewish literature. Her study was published in 2011 under the title From Other to Opposite. “Jewishness” in contemporary German literature . Andrea Heuser herself works in the field of poetry , prose , libretto and music theater . She has lectured at the University of Cologne and the University of Television and Film Munich . In the Lyrik Kabinett she called the author's workshop and the project Lust auf Lyrik. Poems in schools into life. In addition, together with Karin Fellner , Augusta Laar and Gabriele Trinckler , she moderated the Lyrik-Platform event series in Munich. Andrea Heuser is a member of the poetry groups Lyrinx and Reimfrei .
