Andrea Hoffmann
Andrea Hoffmann (born October 15, 1984 in Neubrandenburg ) is a German singer , lyricist / songwriter and musician . She lives in Jülich .
biography
Andrea Hoffmann spent her childhood in Neubrandenburg . She later moved to North Rhine-Westphalia with her family . In addition to school performances, such as B. Tabaluga , she became an active member of the school band, where she gained her first experiences with electric guitar and solo singing.
In favor of “Strahlemännchen - Heart wishes for children with cancer e. V. ”, Andrea Hoffmann, Tim and Stefan Wesselmann recorded the song Ein Lachen zurück (Race for Help) in 2008 and presented it at the 24-hour race for the benefit of children with cancer under the patronage of Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil .
After small and studio projects, Andrea Hoffmann got to know producer Bernd “Natze” Schöler in 2008 at the talent competition “Ab in die Mitte” in Gelsenkirchen , from which Hoffmann emerged as the winner. He invited her to his studio, where she first became a studio singer and participated with her singing in productions by various artists, including Chris Andrews and Daniela de Santos .
On March 7th, 2009 Hoffmann had her first solo appearance in the Ruhrfestspielhaus Recklinghausen , where she presented her first single live on stage as part of an event. This was followed by appearances on WDR 4 - Rhythm of the Night in Duisburg , "BILD Scene Party" in Hamburg and in the "LANXESS Arena" in Cologne. The title Du und Ich , published under the project name AH-Effekt , was published in Germany and Spain. All song releases were released as download singles and on various samplers, including "Fetenhits", "WDR Rhythmus der Nacht" and "RTL2-Hitparade".
The song Better Than a Dream , written by Mike Batt , was released as a download single in the UK, Germany and the US in late June 2013.
In June 2013 Universal Music also released the recording You Light Up My Life by Andrea Hoffmann on the CD Hochzeitswalzer - the best bridal dances from pop and classical music .
In August 2013 Andrea Hoffmann was sponsored in 2014 for “Artists Help Children” and the “Förderverein Krebskranke Kinder e. V. Cologne ”selected. For the projects, Andrea Hoffmann composed and wrote the song We do not forget , which was published as a maxi single CD. 100% of the income from the sale of this maxi single CD goes to “Artists Help Children” for the benefit of the “Förderverein Krebskranke Kinder e. V. Cologne ”.
In September 2014 the first self-composed and texted studio album " Das Meer in mir " was released - all songs were produced and arranged in the SONIC recording studio by Oliver Heuer.
Various single releases and club remixes followed.
After a large number of commissioned productions as a studio singer, Andrea Hoffmann works as a wedding singer and has been writing a children's album since 2018.
