Andreas Anke

Andreas Anke (born April 26, 1973 in Berlin-Köpenick ) is a German actor .

Life

From 1996 to 2000 Anke completed an acting course at the University of Music and Theater in Leipzig . Since 2000 he has been working mainly in theaters in Germany and has played in over ninety theater productions. He worked as a guest at the Freie Kammerspiele in Magdeburg. From 2000 to 2003 he was engaged at the Theater Aachen and from 2003 to 2009 at the Mainfranken Theater in Würzburg. From 2009 to 2016 Anke played at the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken. Among the most important roles here were Uria Shelley in Mann ist Mann by Bertolt Brecht , Beckmann in Outside Front Door by Wolfgang Borchert and Stanley Kowalski in Endstation Sehnsucht by Tennessee Williams . He had his last permanent engagement from 2016 to 2018 at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin, where he could be seen as Faust in Faust 1 , Galilei in the Life of Galilei by Bertolt Brecht or Matthäi in The Promise .

Anke has been working as a freelancer in film and television productions and in guest performances at theaters since 2018.
