Andreas Holm
Andreas Holm (born October 22, 1942 in Berlin ; actually Hans-Joachim Hirschler ) is a German pop singer and composer .
Life
At the age of 13 he sang in the boys' choir of the German State Opera in Berlin. He was a youth champion in judo , learned the hairdressing trade and passed the master's examination . Holm was a soloist in various amateur combos as well as in the professional band Manfred-Lindenberg-Sextett. After a microphone rehearsal at the Berliner Rundfunk , he had his first radio productions in 1965 with Das ist der Bikini-Shake ( Ralf Petersen / Dieter Schneider ) and My Heart is a Compass of Love ( Georg Möckel / Will Horn ). In 1967 he and Erika Janikowa took second place in theSchlager competition of the GDR with So there are no tears (Ralf Petersen / Fred Gertz ). From the mid-1960s he worked with the Fontana Quintet under the direction of Dieter Janik .
Other successful titles from Andreas Holm were, among others , You'll be sorry, you say bye, bye ; I'm already taken ; A little picture of you ; Seven times red dawn, seven times red light ; Ride with me into happiness ; I only go over this bridge with you ; Varadero and girl, you my dream . A total of five Amiga LPs and 31 Amiga singles were released. There was also a large number of radio and television productions.
In the 1980s, things got temporarily quiet around Andreas Holm. From 1997 he appeared together with Thomas Lück , whom he knew from their time together with the Manfred Lindenberg Sextet. Both sang together in events and produced CDs. Many of the titles were penned by Andreas Holm. At the beginning of February 2019, Thomas Lück withdrew from the show stage for health reasons (death in October 2019). Since then, Andreas Holm has been back as a soloist.
