He has been under contract with Udinese Calcio since January 2010 , but is loaned to the Dutch honorary division Willem II from Tilburg in the 2010/11 season.

Career

Landgren, whose parents Raija Saarinen and Sven-Åke Landgren played in Sweden's top football leagues, began playing football at Helsingborgs IF in 1995 . There he went through the entire youth teams and also played in the Swedish youth national teams , whose team captain he was.

In 2006 Landgren was promoted to the club's men's squad. On October 26th of that year he made his debut in the Allsvenskan when he was substituted on for McDonald Mariga in the final minute of the 4-2 away win at Kalmar FF . As a result, he was able to establish himself in the squad, but was only used irregularly as a junior player. During the 2008 season he established himself in the starting line-up, so that Jörgen Lennartsson and Tommy Söderberg , the choice coach of the Swedish U-21 team , were aware of him and him in August at the 1: 1 draw against the Finnish National Selection in made their debut for the junior national team.

In addition, Landgren moved into the field of vision of national coach Lars Lagerbäck , who appointed him to the senior national team on the occasion of a North American tour. On January 28, 2009, he worked as a substitute from the 75th minute for Alexander Farnerud , the scorer of the only goal in the 1-0 win over the Mexican national team . In the following season he played ten games until the summer break and at the end of May Lennartsson and Söderberg called him, along with his club mates Joel Ekstrand and Pär Hansson, to the squad for the U-21 European Championship finals in their own country in the summer, where he was one of eleven players with senior national team experience. With the selection he reached the semi-finals of the tournament, in which they failed in the English U-21 selection .

Shortly after the end of the tournament, Landgren signed a contract with the Italian club Udinese Calcio running from January 2010 until 2013 . At the side of Rasmus Jönsson , Henrik Larsson , Joel Ekstrand and René Makondele , he finished the season in Sweden and reached eighth place with the club.
