Andrei Vladimirovich Bunin
Andrei Vladimirovich Bunin ( Russian Андрей Владимирович Бунин * March 15 . Jul / 28. March 1905 greg. In Voronezh , † 1977 in Moscow ) was a Russian architect , town planner , architectural historian and university lecturer .
Life
Bunin lived in Nowy Oskol from 1915 . Like his uncle Narkis Nikolajewitsch Bunin, he was artistically gifted and was enthusiastic about painting from an early age . At the age of twelve he took part in the Ujesd art exhibition, whereupon the Ujesd Executive Committee decided to help him with further artistic training. After his father's death in 1921, Bunin worked as a copyist . At the request of the Governorate - Kursk Department of the People's Commissariat for Education of the RSFSR , Anatoly Vasilyevich Lunacharsky Bunins approved free education in Moscow. 1925 Bunin began studying at the Architecture - Faculty of the Moscow Higher Artistic and Technical Workshops , which he at 1929 Nikolai Alexandrovich Ladovski completed. Bunin had been a member of ASNOWA since 1929 .
From 1929, Bunin worked in the spatial planning department of the Moscow municipal utility company. He was a member of the Council for the Construction of the Palace of the Soviets at the Presidium of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR . From 1935 he worked in the cabinet for the history and theory of architecture at the Academy of Architecture. In 1941 he was elected a corresponding member of the Academy of Architecture. In 1942 he became a professor at the Moscow Architecture Institute (MArchI), where he taught Russian and foreign urban planning and art history . In 1958 he received his doctorate in art history .
Bunin led the Bureau of Dzerzhinsky -Rats the All-Russian Society for the Protection of historical and cultural monuments in Moscow, and he was a member of the UNESCO committees directly for the protection of the world in history and - cultural monuments .
Bunin was buried in the Wagankowo Cemetery .
Honors, prizes
- Honored Scientist of the RSFSR
- State Prize of the USSR (1976 together with Tatiana Fyodorovna Savarenskaya ) for the book on the history of urban design.
