Andrew Knott (born November 22, 1979 in Salford , Greater Manchester , England ) is a British film and theater actor .

Short biography

Andrew Knott has been an actor since early childhood and was trained at an drama school in Oldham . His debut as a film actor took place in 1993 in the novel The Secret Garden , for which he was also nominated for the Young Artist Award .

After he had also taken on a supporting role in Black Beauty in 1994, things became relatively quiet around Knott, who then only appeared in predominantly British television films and series. In June 2004, Knott appeared in the play The History Boys at the Royal National Theater and was also an actor in the film of the same name in 2006 . Knott also took part in the play's tour, which took him to the Broadhurst Theater in New York City in April 2006 .
