Andrij Bohaj ( Ukrainian Андрій Богай , English transcription Andriy Bohay ; born July 19, 1987 ) is a Ukrainian biathlete .

Andrij Bohaj took the first time in 2006 in Ufa at the Junior World Championships in summer biathlon in part and was in the Cross Country Competitions eleventh of the sprint, ninth in the pursuit and together with Walentyna and Vita Semerenko and Anton Junak silver medalist with the Ukrainian season behind the representation of Russia. In winter, Bohaj regularly competed in the junior European Biathlon Cup between 2006 and 2008 , but without achieving any results worth mentioning. In MartellHe started in 2007 at the Junior World Championships and reached 48th place in the sprint, 50th in the pursuit and 14th place in the relay race. The summer biathlon world championships 2007 in Otepää were most successful in the junior period, where Bohaj won the mass start race after a 24th place in the sprint and achieved the relay silver with the Semerenko sisters and Oleksandr Kolos behind Russia. The last competition among the juniors was the 2008 Biathlon Junior World Championships in Ruhpolding , where the Ukrainian competed in singles and finished 34th.

Bohaj has been competing with men in the performance area since 2009 and is mainly used in cross-country summer biathlon. The first major event here was the 2008 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Oberhof , where he narrowly missed a medal in fourth place in the sprint. In the pursuit, he lost a few ranks and finished seventh. The Ukrainian won the medal ranks for the first time at the 2010 Summer Biathlon European Championships in Osrblie . He was ninth in the sprint and seventh in the pursuit. With Switlana Krikontschuk , Tetjana Tratschuk and Nasarij Buryk , Bohaj won the silver medal as the last runner of the relay behind the Russians. At the Summer Biathlon European Championships 2011 in Martell he came tenth in the sprint, was sixth in the pursuit race and won the silver medal in the mixed competition with Switlana Krikontschuk, Ljudmyla Pyssarenko and Andrij Wosnjak behind the Russian relay.
