Andrzej Olechowski
Andrzej Marian Olechowski (born September 9, 1947 in Krakow ) is a Polish politician and economist and was Minister of Finance in 1992 and Polish Foreign Minister from 1993 to 1995.
In the 2000 presidential election , he came in second with 17.30% of the valid votes. After that he was one of the co-founders of Platforma Obywatelska . He left the party in July 2009 because he no longer agreed to its course under Donald Tusk . In 2009 he announced his bid for the 2010 presidential election . In the first ballot he reached the 6th place out of ten candidates with 1.44% of the vote, in the second ballot he supported the eventual winner Bronisław Komorowski .
