List of Egyptian pyramids
The list of Egyptian pyramids provides an overview of all known Egyptian pyramids .
Chronological overview
Remarks
- Pyramids with significant remains of the superstructure are highlighted in bold.
- Unfinished pyramids are highlighted in gray.
- Buildings that are not real pyramids or step pyramids, but are generally treated in the context of a pyramid, are marked in italics.
- In the case of unfinished pyramids, the assumed planned height is given in brackets.
- Only pyramids known from tradition have a red background.
- Cult as well as queen and prince pyramids of a pyramid complex are indented in small letters.
- Height figures for ruins and unfinished pyramids are usually based on archaeological finds from parts of the exterior cladding, from which the angle of inclination can be determined. In many of these pyramids, however, such finds are missing, which is why the height can no longer be determined.
