The name of the pyramid is mentioned on the sarcophagus and the false door of Anchenespepi IV . It was therefore called "Neferkare is always alive". How far the pyramid had progressed in its construction is so far unclear. It is possible that the remains are perhaps only a few meters from the pyramid of Pepi II , where Gustave Jéquier found the false door of the tomb of Anchenespepi IV.
