Angelo Ferrari (born August 14, 1897 in Fara Gera d'Adda , † June 15, 1945 in Niederlehme , Germany ) was an Italian actor who was very active as a small actor in German film.

Live and act

Born in Lombardy , he won the Italian roller skating championship as a teenager (1913 and 1914) and met the film actress Diana Karenne , who brought him to her side in the 1916 film Sofia di Kravonia . After his military service 1916-18, Angelo Ferrari continued his film work, among other things as a partner of the screen diva Francesca Bertini .

In 1922 Ferrari followed an offer from Berlin. Since then he worked in German studios until shortly before the end of the Second World War, almost continuously in small to small roles in around 200 films. He was seen as a nobleman and officer, as a waiter and stage manager, as a military leader and reporter, as an arbitrator and police commissioner, as a hotel and opera director. His last film, the game of confusion, betrothed people , was shot in November 1944 and only opened in 1950 under the title Das Dementi in East Berlin.

Angelo Ferrari died of a stroke , according to the death certificate .
