Anke Lutz (born Anke Koglin ; born March 21, 1970 in Weimar ) is a German chess player . She won the German women's championship in both local and correspondence chess .

Correspondence chess

Anke Lutz won the 16th German women's correspondence chess championship in 1991/94. In the final of the 1st European Women's Championship in 1987/99, she shared 3rd place.

In 1991 Lutz became German women's champion in Beverungen , in 1993 and 2001 she took second place. In 1995 she received the title of International Women's Champion (WIM). At the 16th International Open in Bad Wörishofen in 2000, she achieved a standard for the title of Grand Master of Women (WGM).

In February 1991 she played for Thuringia on board 1 at the German women's team championship of the state associations in Braunfels. In 1998 in Elista and 2000 in Istanbul she took part in the German women's team in the Chess Olympiads , in 1999 in Batumi in the European Women's Team Championship.

In the women's Bundesliga she played for SC 1903 Weimar from 1991 to 1995 , from 1995 to 2001 for the Krefeld chess club Turm 1851 , with which she also took part in the women's European Club Cup in 1998 , and (after she played in the 2001/02 season the SC Baden-Oos won the 2nd Women's Bundesliga South) from 2002 to 2006 and in the 2007/08 season for the USV Halle .

Anke Lutz is listed as inactive at FIDE because she has not played a rated game since the 2008/09 season of the NRW class (in which she played two games for the Düsseldorf SK 1914/25 ).

Private

Anke Lutz studied computer science in Cologne , where she now also lives. She has been married to the German chess grandmaster Christopher Lutz since summer 2006 . The couple has two daughters.
