Anna Dünnebier

Anna Dünnebier (born January 21, 1944 in Stuhm ) is a German writer .

Life

Anna Dünnebier grew up in Bremen . She studied German and English in Berlin and London and graduated in 1970 with a master's degree . She then worked as a radio journalist and went on trips a. a. to the Middle East , India and Africa . From 1975 to 1989 she produced films as a writer and director for Radio Bremen , Süddeutscher Rundfunk and Second German Television . Anna Dünnebier, who has lived as a freelance writer in Cologne since 1989 , was a member of the Broadcasting Council of Westdeutscher Rundfunk and the supervisory board of the Filmstiftung NRW .

Anna Dünnebier is the author of novels, short stories, radio plays and non-fiction books.

She is a member of the Association of German Writers , of which she was the North Rhine-Westphalian state chairman from 1998 to 2006, and of the Literary Society in Cologne . She is also a member of the board of directors of the collecting society Wort .

In 1968 she was the recipient of the ARD Kurt Magnus Prize ; In 1970 she was awarded at the Short Film Festival in Oberhausen an award for her short film Berlin eaters .

Dünnebier was married to the journalist and author Gert von Paczensky from 1975 until his death on August 1, 2014 .
