Anna Posch

Anna Posch (* 1992 in Neunkirchen , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Anna Posch grew up in Grafenbach and graduated from the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Ternitz . She then completed a two-year training course at the Elfriede Ott drama school , after which she began studying occupational therapy at the Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences , which she completed with a bachelor's degree in 2016 .

For her leading role in the film Chucks , she was honored as best young actress at the 2016 Romy Awards and was nominated for the Austrian Film Prize 2016 as best female actress . The film adaptation of the novel by Cornelia Travnicek won the Audience Award at the Montreal Film Festival.

In 2016 she stood in front of the camera for the ORF / ZDF television two-part series Das Sacher by Robert Dornhelm , and in 2017 and 2019 she played her sister Maria Anna in Dornhelm's mini-series Maria Theresia .

In April 2018 she premiered at the Bronski & Grünberg Theater in Vienna as Lady Milford in Kabale und Liebe .
