Anna Susanne Jahn , née Schulz (born October 4, 1961 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a German painter and printmaker specializing in monotypes and watercolors .

education

Jahn studied painting and printmaking from 1981 to 1989 at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HBK) in Braunschweig under Professor Peter Voigt and Professor Karl Schulz . She was a master student of Peter Voigt. After graduating with a diploma in fine arts (with distinction) and graduating from the master class, he studied Japanese ink painting with Kokyo Hatanaka at the University of Fine Arts in Kyoto , Japan , for six months .

With her monotypes, in which she has specialized since 1984, the artist received international attention. In addition, she gives courses on the technique of monotype and watercolor painting .
