Annie Parisse (born July 31, 1975 in Anchorage , Alaska ) is an American actress .

Life

Parisse was born in Anchorage , Alaska , to Louis G. "Lou" Cancelmi and his wife Annette, and grew up in Mercer Island, King County, Washington , where she attended Mercer Island High School. She has two brothers, actors Louis and Michael Cancelmi. She attended Fordham University .

Parisse first became known to a wide audience through recurring appearances in the series Law & Order . From 2011 to 2013 she also had a recurring role on the Person of Interest series . Parisse starred alongside Kevin Bacon in 2013 as Debra Parker in the first season of the crime series The Following .

So far, she has been in the cinema in the films The Legacy of the Knights Templar , The Monster-in-Law and One Time Is Not To Be Seen .
