Anselm C. Hagedorn

Anselm C. Hagedorn (* 1971 in Hanover ) is a German Protestant theologian .

Life

After graduating from the Ratsgymnasium Hannover in 1990, he studied from 1992 to 1994 at St. Andrews University Degree: MLitt , 1994 at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , from 1995 to 1996 at the University of Notre Dame , degree: MA, from 1996 until 1997 at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen , degree: ecclesiastical examination of the Hanoverian regional church and from 1997 to 2000 at the Oriel College of the Oxford University , DPhil . Old Testament (PhD supervisors: John Barton (Old Testament), Robert Christopher Towneley Parker (Classical Philology)). On June 9, 1997, he passed the first theological examination (Hannoversche Landeskirche). From 1999 to 2002 he was a Kennicott-Hebrew Fellow at the Oriental Institute - Oxford . From 2001 to 2002 he was a Liddon Fellow in Theology at Keble College . From 2002 to 2009 he was a research assistant in the Old Testament at the Humboldt University with Matthias Köckert . From 2008 to 2012 he completed the part-time vicariate at the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church with Martin Germer. After completing his habilitation on July 15, 2009 in the subject of the Old Testament, he was a private lecturer in the Old Testament at Humboldt University in Berlin from 2009 to 2017 . In the 2009/2010 winter semester he was a professor at the Georg-August University in Göttingen ( Hermann Spieckermann ). From 2010 to 2012 he was a professor in Göttingen ( Reinhard Gregor Kratz ). After the second theological examination on November 22, 2012 ( Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia ), he was pastor of the Hanover State Church ( parish Nettelkamp - Stederdorf ) from 2014 to 2017 . From 2012 to 2013 he was a professor in Heidelberg ( Jan Christian Gertz ). Since the summer semester 2017 he has been teaching as a professor (W-2) for Old Testament / Ancient Judaism at the University of Osnabrück .

His main areas of research and interests are biblical and Greek legal history , Old Testament prophecy, the Song of Songs, history and literature of the Persian era, cultural anthropology of the Mediterranean and cultural anthropology of the Old Testament.
