Anselm Neft
Anselm Neft (born July 6, 1973 in Bonn ) is a German novelist , satirist and publicist .
Life
Anselm Neft attended the Aloisiuskolleg in Bonn-Bad Godesberg, did community service and studied comparative religious studies , folklore and prehistory at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 1993 to 2000 . From 1999 to 2001 he performed for two years as a shawm blower and herald with the medieval rock band Schelmish and toured Germany. He then worked in various professions and jobs, including German teacher and management consultant.
In 2005 he founded EXOT , a magazine for comic literature with Christian Bartel and Francis Kirps , and was co-editor until the end of December 2015.
Neft wrote hundreds of satires, columns and glosses to this day, especially for Die Welt , Tagesspiegel , taz , Eulenspiegel , Titanic and DAS MAGAZIN . His novels, on the other hand, cannot be clearly assigned to satire or the humorous genre.
He lives as a freelance author and journalist in Hamburg, where he runs the reading stage 'Liebe für alle' together with Piero Masztalerz , Katrin Seddig and Ella Carina Werner .
