Markus Liske

Markus Liske (born December 13, 1967 in Bremen ) is a German writer and publicist .

Life

In 1991 Liske's first volume of poetry, TUMOR, was published . Until 1995 he was involved in various reading series (including Capitalism and Confidence with Thomas Holzapfel, The Homer Project with Oliver Piecha and Thomas Holzapfel). From 1995 to 1998 he was the singer of the experimental band Splatter Kakapo and the organizer of various art festivals. In 2000 he became a regular reader at Dr. Strange club existentialiste.

Since 2001 co-organizer of the Berlin Erich Mühsam Festival . In the same year he began working with Manja Präkels ' band Der Singende Tresen , for which he wrote several song theater programs together with Präkels. In 2003 he took part in the resumption of Die Höhnende Wochenschau . Since 2004 regular solo appearances under the title Liske Reads . In 2009 Liske founded the thought manufactory WORT & TON together with Manja Präkels , with which they are also increasingly active as a journalist.
