Theodore TY02
The Theodore TY02 was a Formula 1 racing car from the British racing team Theodore Racing that was used in the 1982 season . The car was unsuccessful. It did not reach the finish line in the entire year.

Like the TY01, the Theodore TY02 was built to a design by Tony Southgate . Two copies were completed during the season. The vehicles had a aluminum - monocoque of honeycomb construction and were ground effect racing car. The cars had extremely wide side pods and were difficult to drive. The proven power unit from Cosworth served as the engine .
Races
The pilots struggled the entire season to qualify the TY02 for a Grand Prix. Derek Daly achieved the best position for the vehicle in the very first race in South Africa . 14. Tommy Byrne , Jan Lammers and Geoff Lees were both unsuccessful with the TY02.
1983 came the N183 , which was originally an Ensign and brought the team points in the world championship.
