Antonio Pedro Misiara

Antônio Pedro Misiara (born December 1, 1917 in Tietê , † May 11, 2004 in Bragança Paulista , Brazil ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Bragança Paulista .

Life

Antônio Pedro Misiara was ordained a priest on April 24, 1943 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on October 27, 1976 Bishop of Bragança Paulista. The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil, Archbishop Carmine Rocco , donated him episcopal ordination on December 10th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Lafayette Ferreira Álvares , Former Bishop of Bragança Paulista, and José Melhado Campos , Bishop of Sorocaba . As a motto he chose Scio cui credidi .

Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation on May 17, 1995.
