Anton Rückel
Anton Rückel (born December 3, 1919 in Haßfurt , † January 27, 1990 in Munich ) was a German sculptor .
Life
After his artistic training, Rückel worked with Josef Henselmann in Munich and with Ossip Zadkine at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. From 1954 he worked as a freelance artist in Munich. He worked mainly in cast bronze, but also in wood, stone, ceramic, enamel and aluminum. With a few exceptions, his work was dedicated to Christian art .

- 1960–1965: Donauwörth , six candlesticks with two apostles each and a bronze tabernacle in the Liebfrauenmünster
- 1964–1966: Laufen (Salzach) , furnishing the Capuchin Church
- 1967: Monument to King Ludwig II in Munich-Bogenhausen
- 1965–1968: Altötting , church furnishings in the Franziskushaus
- around 1965: Landshut- Auloh, furnishing of the parish church of St. Vinzenz von Paul
- 1977: Munich fountain monument for Elise Aulinger at the Viktualienmarkt , bronze and Kirchheim shell limestone
- 1977: Furth im Wald , St. Vinzenz Church furnishings
- 1977–1981: Dillingen an der Donau , furnishing the Capuchin Church
- 1984–1988: Augsburg , St. Moritz church furnishings
