The Arbach is a 9.0 km long left and northwest tributary of the Neckar near the Hirschau district of Tübingen in the Tübingen district in Baden-Württemberg .

The Arbach arises on the Gäu plateau to the left of the upper Neckar, around one kilometer southwest of the Rottenburg district of Oberndorf at around 430  m above sea level. NN in front of the oven forest . From here on it flows continuously in a south-easterly to easterly direction. First of all, it crosses Rottenburg- Wendelsheim in a south-east direction and then flows a little south of the Rottenburg district of Wurmlingen . Running a little further to the east, it then passes an industrial zone south of Tübingen-Hirschau and then flows, now bearing the name Hochwiesengraben , directly in front of the Epplesee in its left valley floodplain from the left into the Neckar running northeast here.

Origin of the Arbach about 2 km west-southwest of the center of Oberndorf , in the Bollhalden in front of the forests of Rot and Öfenwald . Down the valley from the west to there stretches an approximately 200 meters long, unstable upper course, which is about 437.7  m above sea level. NHN still begins in the open hallway.

  • Bollhaldengraben , from the right and west to about 420  m above sea level. NHN , 0.5 km. Ditch lane that is about 100 m longer than the permanent part of the official branch.
  • (Graben along the Seebronner Weg), from the left and north to about 403  m above sea level. NHN , 0.2 km. With an additional, much longer, but inconsistent ditch inlet from the Bollhalde.
  • (Bach from the Gewann Eisengräber ), from the right and west to about 392  m above sea level. NHN near the L 6038, 0.7 km and 1.1 km².
  • Gassäckergraben , from the right and west-southwest to about 365  m above sea level. NHN just below Wendelsheim , 2.6 km and 2.8 km². Arises a little east of the Heuberger Warte at about 425  m above sea level. NHN .
    • Wagenlehengraben , from the right and west-southwest to about 372  m above sea level. NHN shortly before the mouth of the Gassäckergraben, 1.6 km. Arises in the Gewann Wagenlehen at about 405  m above sea level. NHN .
  • Lacherweggraben , from the left and northwest to about 335  m above sea level. NHN next to a dirt road bridge southeast of Wurmlingen , 3.0 km and 3.4 km². Arises northwest of Wurmlingen in the Gewann Römerstraße at about 375  m above sea level. NHN and finally passes through the village.
  • Dürrbachgraben , from the right and finally southwest to about 332  m above sea level. NHN shortly after the previous one, 1.8 km and 2.1 km². Arises from a pond on the L 372 south-southwest of Wurmlingen at over 340  m above sea level. NHN .
