The Be-Ge Hockey Center is an ice rink in the Swedish city of Oskarshamn , province County Kalmar . The hall is the venue for the home games of the ice hockey club IK Oskarshamn from the Svenska Hockeyligan , the highest Swedish league.

history

The original Oskarshamns ishall opened in 1974. In addition to the ice rink, the complex also includes an indoor swimming pool and an artificial turf pitch , which is used as a bandy playing field in winter . In 2004 the ice arena was completely rebuilt. The roof was lifted off and the building was raised by three meters. The arena offers a total of 3,275 seats, 1,620 of which are seats. The arena's name sponsor , the Swedish company Be-Ge Koncernen, was named in April 2015 for five years.
