action

An accident during the shooting of his film Dream , which almost resulted in the death of an actress, plunges Kim Ki-duk into a depression. Unable to make another film, he withdraws into solitude. He moves into a house on the outskirts of a village and avoids any contact with people. He documents his life there with the camera. He films himself doing everyday things, such as feeding the cat, going to the toilet or preparing food. In dialogues that he has with himself, he addresses his situation, his depression, wishes and the process of his previous filmmaking. A conflict between him and his former assistant director Jang Hun , whom he calls a “traitor” because of his commercial films and his contract with the production company Showbox / Mediaplex , becomes clear .
