Arnstein is the capital of the city of Arnstein in the Lower Franconian district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria .

The place is 227  m above sea level. NHN between Karlstadt and Schweinfurt at the confluence of federal highway 26a with federal highway 26 . The hamlet of Dürrhof and the wasteland of Faustenbach are located in the municipal area . The Arnstein Castle (also Arnstein Official Castle ), located to the east, is characteristic of the location and the history of the place .
