Arroyo Concepción is a country town in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Arroyo Concepción is the second largest town in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Puerto Quijarro in the province of Germán Busch and connects directly to the city of Puerto Quijarro to the south . Arroyo Concepción is located at an altitude of 105 m southeast of the Laguna Cáceres on the Río Paraguay . On the south-eastern outskirts of Arroyo Concepción is the border crossing that connects Puerto Suárez and Puerto Quijarro with the city of Corumbá on the Brazilian side.

Across from Arroyo Concepción on the western side of the street of Ruta 4 is the five-star hotel "El Pantanal", which was opened in 1994 by the then presidents of Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. It is the starting point for sightseeing trips into the Pantanal here in the three-country corner.
