Art Cruz
Arturo "Art" Cruz (born May 27, 1988 in Downey ) is an American drummer . He is a member of the bands Winds of Plague and Lamb of God and previously played with Prong .
Career
Cruz grew up in South El Monte , a suburb of Los Angeles , and was a member of his high school marching band . In 2008 he joined the band Winds of Plague and released the albums The Great Stone War and Against the World , which reached number 72 and 60 on the Billboard 200 , respectively. In 2012 Cruz left the band due to creative differences, but returned three years later. In 2017 the album Blood of My Enemy was released .
In 2014 Art Cruz joined the band Prong and released the cover album Songs from the Black Hole as well as the studio albums X - No Absolutes and Zero Days with the band, before leaving the band in 2018. A year earlier, Art Cruz collaborated with the Klogr project and went on a European tour with the band in the opening act for The Rasmus .
Since 2018 Art Cruz has represented Chris Adler as the drummer for the band Lamb of God after Adler had to retire due to a motorcycle accident. In July 2019, Cruz was promoted to a permanent member of the band.
