Artur Friedrich Stölzel (also Arthur ; born January 1, 1868 in Vienna , † March 19, 1933 in Maxglan ) was an Austrian lawyer and politician.

Live and act

Stölzel attended high school in Salzburg and then studied law at the University of Vienna , where he became a member of the Vienna academic fraternity of Olympia in 1887 . In 1893 he was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD . After completing his studies, he worked as a legal trainee and auscultant in Vienna and Salzburg, then as a clerk in the financial procurator's office and later as a trainee lawyer with Julius Sylvester and as court and court counsel .

From 1895 to 1900 he was a member of the community committee and community leader of Maxglan. From 1902 to 1919 he was a member of the Salzburg state parliament and a member of the state committee as well as deputy to the governor of Salzburg . From 1907 to 1919 he was a member of the Reichsrat ( German People's Party ) for the city of Salzburg. From October 21, 1918 to February 16, 1919 he was a member of the Provisional National Assembly for the German National Party .

From 1902 to 1904 he was President of the Salzburg University Association, from 1908 to 1920 a member of the Trade Promotion Council of the Ministry of Commerce and President of the Board of Trustees of the Salzburg Trade Promotion Institute.

He took part voluntarily in the First World War, most recently as a Landsturm - Captain - Auditor with the Kuk Salzburg-Upper Austrian Infantry Regiment "Archduke Rainer" No. 59 and with the Field Gun Regiment No. 8/41 .
