The Aruba florin (also called Aruba Gulden , Dutch Arubaanse florin ) is the currency of Aruba .
It replaced the Antilles guilder in 1986 . Like this one, it is tied to the US dollar with a fixed exchange rate of USD 1 = 1.79 AWG and is thus equivalent to the Antillean guilder. The Aruba florin is issued by the Centrale Bank van Aruba .
There are the following denominations of the Aruba Florin:
- Coins of 5, 10, 25, 50 cents, 1, 2½ and 5 florins
- Banknotes of 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 florins (2019 edition) and the previous series of 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 500 florins (editions 1990–2012)
