The Assamstadt area is an 84-hectare landscape protection area in the district of Assamstadt in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . It was designated by ordinance of February 13, 1981 (LSG number 1.28.006) and is thus one of the oldest landscape protection areas in the Main-Tauber district .
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the natural beauty and character of the landscape and the protection of the area as a natural habitat for the flora and fauna.
