The area of Gewann Sensen und Tal northeast of Eichswiesen is a 11.4 hectare landscape protection area , of which 6.6 hectares (LSG number 1.27.072) are in the area of ​​the city of Schrozberg in the district of Schwäbisch Hall and another 4.8 hectares (LSG- Number 1.28.011) are in the area of ​​the city of Niederstetten in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . It was expelled by ordinance of July 27, 1992.

Protection purpose

The main protection purpose of the landscape protection area is:

  1. the preservation and securing of the rapidly deepening upper part of the side blade of the Vorbach, lying in the shell limestone, with its vegetation created by extensive types of use;
  2. the preservation of the ecologically very valuable groves, hedges, woody trees, stone bars and piles of stones, dry and semi-dry grassland communities, elements of scattered fruit and wet areas;
  3. the safeguarding of the attractive and diverse landscape.
