The Kembachtal area is a 744 hectare landscape protection area in the district of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . It was designated by ordinance of November 30, 1984 (LSG number 1.28.010).
history
With the designation of the Kembachtal landscape protection area on November 30, 1984, the area of the Wertheim landscape protection area was reduced by two hectares.
Protection purpose
The main protection purpose is the preservation of the characteristic landscape, the protection from pollution of the natural balance and impairment of the landscape as well as the protection of the area as a habitat for the fauna and flora and as a recreational area for the general public.
