geography

course

The Aua da Val Mora rises in the Döss Radond area at about 2235  m above sea level. M. a spring on the northwest slope of Monte Forcola . After a short walk to the north, it reaches a flat moor , into which another stream flows. This rises east of the moor on a moraine which forms the watershed to the Val Vau , which drains over the Adige into the Adriatic . Therefore it turns here to the northwest and flows through a bottleneck above La Stretta . Several springs arise here on the left bank, which collect in two tributaries. It passes the La Stretta alpine hut on the right bank and meanders towards the left bank confluence of the water from Val Schumbraida . This flows into a shallow and up to 100 meters wide alluvial fan that extends directly below the Cuclèr da Jon Dad Onsch .

The brook at Alp Sprella

The stream flows out of the Val da la Crappa from the right , while on the left bank it passes a sinkhole that is partially filled with water . Immediately afterwards it takes up the stream from the Val da Tea Fondada from the left , after which the stream bed widens and now often branches. The Plazza Gronda alpine pasture follows on the right bank , after which the water from the Val Magliavachas pours into the stream from the left . It passes the Pedra Grossa boulder on the right bank and then the Praveder Alp , where the Val da la Rena joins. Shortly afterwards, Alp Sprella and then Alp Mora follow on the right bank . Here a nameless valley from the mountain Mona d'Immez flows first from the left , then from the right the water of the Val Gronda and Val da Munt Pitschen , before the stream from the Val Murtaröl joins on the left.

After the confluence of the Val da las Funtaunas from the right, it turns in an arc to the southwest. At the same time it flows through the Palüetta area , while the valley narrows and the forests now extend to the shore on both sides. At Il Grass , on the Las Palas slope on the right bank , it is bridged by a hiking trail. It flows between the Cima del Serraglio and the Mon'Ata and crosses at 1895  m above sea level. M. at the Passo di Val Mora and below the Piz Mon'Ata the state border.

Directly behind the border, it forms a short gorge before the Aua da Val Mora at 1863  m slm joins the shorter Ova dal Gall from the right .
